About the role:

Reporting to both the National Business Development and Marketing Manager, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Marketing Advisor to join our  team in Sydney and work closely with our Managing Partner, Partners, Department Managers and clients.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assist the events team with all aspects of event management when required
  • Assist the graphics team with editing documents in InDesign and Photoshop
  • Maintain the Colin Biggers & Paisley website, Colin Biggers & Paisley Foundation microsite and CBPnet by uploading new content, CVs and images
  • Provide induction training on marketing to new employees of the legal practice
  • Assist with drafting capability statements and other client documents
  • Provide support to the Marketing Manager on a wide range of tasks, including diary management, travel bookings and general administrative work
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team
  • Assist with maintaining the CRM (InterAction) and use event management software (Vuture) to send out client alerts
  • Assist with documents and PowerPoint presentations
  • Other ad hoc duties as required such as organising marketing collateral, merchandise and corporate gifts
  • Marketing projects as required

The successful candidate:

You will be supported in this close knit team, given training, mentoring and guidance from your peers and leader. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable in this dynamic environment. Ideal background and skills include:

  • Proven experience in a Marketing Assistant or Coordinator role and ideally within a professional services environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications desirable
  • Excellent customer service ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint expertise
  • Experience in using CRM software (Interaction and Vuture desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of the legal practice
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrable problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Experience liaising with external suppliers and sourcing suppliers
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a national team
